The Minneapolis Rowing club wanted to construct an addition to its existing building and install brick paver paths on its property along the Mississippi River.  The site did not meet current City stormwater standards, so a stormwater management plan had to be developed for the entire site.

Rani provided a stormwater management plan and proposed construction drawing for the building expansion and paver walkways.

Professional services included:

• Topographic survey of the entire site.
• Preparing a stormwater management plan for the entire rowing club site with associated calculations and explanatory memorandum of drainage design.
• Designing of four small rain gardens to meet stormwater requirements.
• Coordinating with the City of Minneapolis to get approval of the stormwater management plan.
• Developing construction drawings detailing site grading and placement of paver paths.
• Construction observation during rain garden installation.
• Completing as-built drawings of rain gardens, building addition and pavers.
