PROJECT DESCRIPTION
MnDOT, BNSF and the City of Wilmar were investigating preliminary alternatives to add 2.7 miles of track along CSAH 55 to connect Morris and Marshall subdivision tracks. A realignment of TH 12 and other local roads is required to add the track and two alternative designs were proposed. The proposed road designs include a bypass, overpass, and raised intersections. Rani was a subconsultant on the design team, responsible for the drainage analysis and design for these preliminary alternatives.
RANI SOLUTION
Rani provided a hydraulic design and analysis memo for each of the design alternatives. The design team developed a drainage overview map and layout using MnDOT, MPCA, and City of Willmar standards.
